A clockwise loop from Black Rock to Black Down and Beacon Batch, the highest summit in the Mendip Hills. Returning via Charterhouse and the Church of St Hugh, a Grade II listed brick built church that dates from 1908. The interior has fittings in the arts and crafts style, although it was not open on the day we visted.
