A circular walk around the Black Mountains starting at Pengenffordd, between Crickhowell and Talgarth. There was evidence of ongoing peatland restoration work up on the hills on the day we visited in April 2022.

The classic Dragon's Back walk from the village of Pengenffordd through the stunning Black Mountain scenery taking in Mynydd Bychan, Waun Fach and Pen Truman.
A good mountain trek from Capel-y-Ffin up the Offa's Dyke Path to Hay Bluff then across to Lord Hereford's Knob, returning down the valley to the start point.
