A short new years eve wander around a wintery Hamsterley Forest. The wonderful wood carved sculpture at the start of the walk is The Green Man by local artist Phil Townsend. Sadly this was removed from the forest in 2025 (due to wood rot) having stood there for 29 years. Read the full story here.
