This undulating loop from Shirenewton, near Chepstow, takes in the hill fort at Llanmelin, some pretty country lanes and views over the Severn Estuary. I found the stretches through woodland to be the most interesting, with some of the other footpaths little used and therefore overgrown when we walked in late summer.
