An easy Gloucestershire circular starting the village of Stone and heading up to Berkeley following the route of the Little Avon River. The walk returns via Whitcliff Deer Park.

The town of Berkeley is the location of Berkeley Castle as well as the birthplace of the physician Edward Jenner, pioneer of the smallpox vaccine. Dr Jenner's House and museum can be found next to the castle.
