Crook Peak is one of the six main summits of the Mendip Hills. It lies at the western end of the Mendips and this walk takes in the villages of Cross and Compton Bishop.
The route is based on a walk from Robin Tetlow's first Beyond Bristol book, although the start differs as the King's Wood car park was closed (due to forestry work) on the day we visited in 2023.
