This is the short Pen y Bryn Trail in the Dyfi Forest - see page 10 of the Dyfi Forest Forest walks leaflet - the path makes an anticlockwise circuit from the car park at Foel Friog and climbs up through the forest before dropping back down for the flatter return route.
